.A FRONT WILL REMAIN NRLY STATIONARY OVER THE OH VALLEY THROUGH
WEDNESDAY NIGHT. A WAVE OF LOW PRESSURE WILL SLOWLY MOVE NE
ALONG THIS FRONT AND PRDCE WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION ACRS THE
REGION LATE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT. STRNG ARCTIC HIGH
PRESSURE TO OUR NORTH WILL HELP FILTER COLD AIR INTO THE REGION
TONIGHT AS PRECIPITATION BEGINS TO DVLP OVER THE AREA. THIS WILL
SET THE STAGE FOR A SIGNIFICANT WINTER STRM WITH A WINTRY MIX OF
SNOW SLEET FREEZING RAIN. SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE
PSBL IN LOCATIONS WHICH RECEIVE MAINLY FREEZING RAIN.

SNOW WILL DVLP TONIGHT AND CNTINU THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THE
SNOW MAY MIX WITH A LTL SLEET OR FREEZING RAIN AT TIMES BUT MOST
OF THE PRECIPITATION IS EXP TO BE IN THE FORM OF SNOW.
A SMALL CHANGE IN THE EXP STRM TRACK CAN LEAD TO SIGNIFICANT
DIFFERENCES IN PRECIPITATION TYPE AND AMOUNTS. THE PTNTL FOR
SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW EXISTS IF THE AIR REMAINS COLD
ENOUGH FOR ALL SNOW DURING THE ENTIRE EVENT. OVER A FOOT OF SNOW

LOCATIONS WHERE THE PRECIPITATION FALLS MAINLY AS FREEZING
RAIN SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS BTWN ONE HALF INCH AND ONE
INCH WILL BE PSBL.
A SMALL CHANGE IN THE EXP STRM TRACK CAN LEAD TO SIGNIFICANT
DIFFERENCES ON PRECIPITATION TYPE AND AMOUNTS. IF TEMPERATURES AT THE
SURFACE REMAIN BELOW FREEZING FOR MOST OF THIS EVENT UP TO ONE INCH
OF ICE ACCUMULATION COULD OCCUR. THIS WOULD CAUSE SIGNIFICANT DMG
TO TREES AND POWERLNS WITH WIDESPREAD POWER OUTAGES LIKELY. IT WILL
BE DNGRS AND NRLY IMPSBL TO TRAVEL.
